Some dangers you simply can't see or smell
Most of us feel safe at home. It's where we relax, cook, sleep and spend time with the people we love.
But some risks give no warning at all. Carbon monoxide has no colour and no smell. A small gas leak from a stove, heater or hot water system can go unnoticed for a long time.
Many people only think about this after something goes wrong. Or they have an old detector tucked away somewhere and can't remember when it was last checked.
If you've ever wondered whether your home is properly covered, you're not alone.
One simple device that keeps watch for you
Aerisa™ is a compact 4-in-1 detector that keeps an eye on the air in your home. It monitors carbon monoxide and household gas, such as natural gas and LPG. It also shows the room temperature and humidity, all in one easy-to-read unit.
There's no wiring and no complicated setup. Simply plug it into a standard power point, and it quietly gets to work. No batteries to replace, and no ladders to climb.
If it picks up a rise in carbon monoxide or gas, it sounds a clear alarm and flashes a warning light, so you know straight away. The rest of the time, it sits calmly in the background while you get on with your day.
Why people choose Aerisa™
- Four functions in one device. Carbon monoxide, gas, temperature and humidity, without several separate gadgets around the house.
- Clear, easy-to-read display. See the readings at a glance, day or night.
- Sound and light alarm. A loud alarm and a flashing light make sure a warning doesn't go unnoticed.
- Simply plug in and go. Ready to use in minutes, with no tools or technical knowledge needed.
- Compact and discreet. Fits neatly in the kitchen, laundry, bedroom or near a heater.
- Works around the clock. Keeps watch day and night, so you don't have to think about it.
Thoughtfully designed for everyday living
Aerisa™ was made with real homes and real people in mind. The display is large and clear. The indicator lights are easy to understand. And the alarm is hard to miss.
It's a small, sensible addition to your home that fits into everyday life without fuss. Because it simply plugs in, it's easy to move from room to room. Many people like to take it along to a holiday home, a hotel room or a powered caravan site. Some also buy a second one for a parent.
Please note that Aerisa™ is designed to add an extra layer of awareness at home. It does not replace the smoke alarms required under Australian law, or the regular servicing of your gas appliances by a licensed professional.
Enjoy a little extra reassurance at home
When it comes to the air your family breathes, a little extra care goes a long way. Aerisa™ offers an easy way to feel more at ease in your own home, every day and every night.

Getting the most from your detector
Choose the right spot. Plug Aerisa™ into a power point in rooms with gas appliances, such as the kitchen or near a gas heater. A power point in the hallway outside the bedrooms is also a good choice. Avoid placing it right next to the stove or directly behind curtains or furniture.
Check it regularly. Glance at the display now and then to make sure it's switched on and showing readings. Use the test function once a month to check the alarm is working. An easy way to remember is to do it on the first of every month.
Know what to do if it sounds. If the alarm goes off, open doors and windows if it's safe to do so, turn off gas appliances and leave the house. Don't switch lights or appliances on or off. Call 000 or your gas supplier's emergency line from outside.
Keep it clean and clear. Gently wipe the unit with a dry cloth now and then. Avoid spraying cleaning products, air fresheners or aerosols directly near it.
